Calcium Salt of Methionine Hydroxy Analogue (HMTBa‐Ca / MHA-Ca)

An organic calcium source with the MHA analogue as its ligand. It supplies calcium while providing rumen-bypass MHA, so a single product covers both mineral nutrition and a methionine source — particularly suited to ruminant diets.

Product features

  • Well-defined structure with easily detectable composition and content, and a high chelation rate and purity.
  • Chemically stable in the complex environments of feed and the digestive tract, resisting dissociation and binding with anti-nutritional factors such as phytic acid.
  • The MHA ligand bypasses the rumen and is fully utilized as a methionine source, supporting protein synthesis and supplementing dietary methionine.
