With an optimal stability constant, the chemical structure stays intact in the complex environments of feed and the digestive tract, resisting dissociation and binding with anti-nutritional factors such as phytic acid.
The stable chelated structure lets trace elements be absorbed efficiently via amino-acid transport, with bioavailability well above inorganic salts and organic-acid salts.
Using the essential amino acid methionine (as MHA) as the ligand, it serves as an effective methionine source supporting protein synthesis and supplementing dietary methionine.
